The Mass Communication Department Of The Polytechnic Iresi Soccer team popularly known as MACOSSA are set to lift the Rector's cup after defeating Comm Engine to secure a place in the final. MACOSA who are in the final for the first time defeat their opponent with a goal difference on Friday 14 of October 2022 at N.U.D field where all matches are taking.
MACOSA who have been unbeaten and won all their matches will now face Comm Science in the final, it is expected to be touch match as Comm Science also haven't lose and also have maintain clean sheet in all their previous games. The final is to kickoff today at the same venue against the two teams.
The HOD Of Mass Comm Department Mr.Salaudeen Abdulai Ishola have called on other students of the Department and advise them to be supportive of the Department soccer team in any way they can and make sure they help the team win the cup. He also prayed for the team victory. The HOD make this known in his post to the Mass Communication groups. "After a sterling performance from our darling Football Team throughout the phases at the just to be concluded Inter-Departmental Soccer Competition, we're through to the final of the tournament against the department of Computer Science.

Both Captains of the team also gave their speech and promise to try their best in Winning the cup.
